WW2 British Airborne Everest Carrier 1944

WW2 British Airborne 'Everest Carrier' carrying frame dated 1944.These were used by Airborne & Commando forces for carrying heavy equipment such as ammunition boxes etc & can be seen in period photographs being used on combat operations. These were often worn as backpack however could be used on the Airborne bicycle. Marked 'JBB 1944' & applicable to both the Normandy & Arnhem campaigns it is in excellent condition.Hard to find item.
