Antique1st Royal Dragoons Breast Plate Badge

Large brass cavalry breast plate badge of the 1st Royal Dragoons, worn on the horse from the saddle, between the front legs and attached to the girth. This one shows the lion over the imperial state crown with the battle honours 'Peninsula and Waterloo'. it comes on leather a piece of the original breast plate and although the badge itself is a little worn, it's a rare find.The badge measures 2.25 inches in diameter and the whole piece measures 5 x 8 inches.
