Soviet WWII Cavalry Sword, Shaska, 1930 Dated

Original era manufacture. Wooden gripped, brass hilted Cossack style sword. The blade measures 32 inches in length with the letter M on one side of the ricasso and a trademark and 1930 date on the other. The blade is clean overall, shows some very light surface corrosion (looks like it would clean away easily)and has not been sharpened or abused. Brass mounted scabbard with a black painted canvas covering over the wooden core.
