US Army WW2 Type 1 Service Shoes

In a very good condition a US Army first model/ type 1 pair of Service Shoes.The Type I Service Shoe was constructed with russet tanned leather, without capped toe, 7-9 eyelets depending on size and a full leather sole.Produced only from 1939 to 1941, the Type I service shoes are quite hard to find considering that the Army of the United States at the time was smaller than that of Portugal during that period.The shoes comes in a large mannequin size 13 and are maker marked on the inside tong and have also the laundrynumber of the owner present inside.A very hard to find type 1 set!
