You are bidding on aVERY NICE used example of a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Aluminum Teaspoon, stamped'W.J.S. 37'(Wilhelm Jordan, Solingen). These were used in various Air Force Mess Halls and Galleys throughout the war.Produced in 1937 for Air Force field-issue use, this pattern represents the early aluminum cutlery supplied before the transition to steel later in the war.Wilhelm Jordan, Solingen,was one of the primary production centers for wartime arms and cutlery, supplying the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe with mess utensils through mid-war.Made of aluminum, this is a FANTASTIC example!There are some slight wear and marks due to the age, but nothing that detracts. No bends or corrosion, all markings clear and legible. It is marked with the Luftwaffe Eagle, as well as the maker code and production year.'FL.U.V.' – Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung (Flight/Barracks Administration of the Luftwaffe), is also clearly marked.
