German WWII Long Short Fireman's Bayonet-This is a handsome bayonet. The hilt and pommel fittings retain 95% of their original matte nickel silver finish. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are very good. The leather buffer below the crossguard is missing. The scabbard retains 85% of its original black paint. It is in very good condition, with no denting. The blade is near excellent, and is unmarked, as are many of these bayonets. This black leather frog has been with this bayonet forever.
