Luftwaffe 'Fallschirmjäger' Portrait Photograph

Nice quality studio portrait photograph showing a Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger. The collar tabs indicate the rank of Gefreiter. He's wearing his early pattern jump smock with parachute harness, fallschirmjäger helmet and fallschirmjäger gloves. The photo was taken when he had just been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class.
