Description
Stunning condition M1 Helmet paired with an early low pressure Hood Rubber Liner.The shell is numbered 505A which indicates a mid 1943 MC Cord production.The helmet retains its original cork finish and paint. Straps are original to the helmet and have the early brass raised bar buckle.The liner is a Type 1 Hood Rubber liner in equally good condition with unpainted steel A-washers and cotton suspension, headband and non adjustable nape strap.The liner has the adjustable type leather chinstrap.The outside of the liner retains most of its original paint with some flaking which is not unusual for these low pressure liner models.There are traces of an Enlisted Men's insignia disc having been attached to the front insignia hole of the liner.An extremely niceM1 Helmet combo with rare Hood Rubber liner.
