Description
The four pocket tunic actually has two sets of clutch back collar disks, with the upper collar having two 'U.S.' disks and the lapels having Infantry branch disks. On the upper left breast is a sterling silver pin back paratrooper wing. Below this is a sterling silver clutch back Combat Infantry Badge. The tunic has a single ribbon for the World War II Victory Medal, below which is a three place clutch back ribbon bar which carries the ribbons for the European Campaign Medal with two campaign stars and an arrowhead invasion device; the U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal; and the American Defense Medal. Both sleeve have the rank chevron of a First Sergeant. On the upper left shoulder is the patch of the 101st Airborne Division which shows a spot of wear above the head of the eagle. The lower left sleeve carries six overseas service chevrons as well as a single enlistment chevron. On the upper right breast is the 'Ruptured Duck' honorable discharge insignia. The manufacturer depot tag is retained within the pocket of the tunic. The tunic is accompanied by the airborne enlisted ranks overseas cap. The tunic is marked as a size 39 Regular, while the cap is a size 7-1/8. Both the tunic and the cap are in excellent condition.
