Battle damaged ET66 M40 single decal Luftwaffe helmet in three-tone camouflage. This is a beautiful, untouched example of a Luftwaffe single decal M40 helmet with a bullet hole and large concaved dome. The original wearer probably suffered from a bullet to the neck or was struck by fragments from a shell detonating nearby. As with a lot of wounded or killed in action, battle damaged helmets, the leather liner has fully rotten away. The helmet is in good as found condition. A rare combination with decal, camouflage and multiple battle damages!
