Mica Wirtschaftkasten personal effects box

This 'MicaWirtschaftkasten' was one of the most luxuous pieces of private purchasepocket litter. This set was commonly gifted to sons going to war, bought by officers or bought at barracks stores. This kit basicly had all the items a soldier would need to keep clean and organised. The Mica is a basic set of period personal items and was designed to fit inside the M31 messkit. This example comes with its original factory box and manual. Inside are all the small period pocket litter accoutrements one would find. The brush is the typical issue example that were issued with these cases. These brushes are typical and have two round notches which were to attatch a enlargment part of the brush for out of field use where the large brushes would not fit inside the messkit.
