Rare Heer Artillerie EM M40 service blouse, garment is constructed of earlier war quality field grey wool, having matching field grey wool collar with steel hook and eye, five button front, four pleated patch pockets and adjustable cuffs, the field grey painted pebbled buttons are marked G.G., match and are originally sewn to include the shoulder strap buttons, the collar liner, cuff and bandage pockets are of black plastic and all are still in place with original stitching, the first pattern woven universal collar Litzen are factory straight machine stitched with hand finished ends, the light grey on dark green colored woven national emblem is applied in the 'zip and flip' manner, machine straight stitched across the back of the eagle's wing and then being folded over and with the lower portions being hand sewn, the pair of slip on shoulder straps have slight differences in construction details but match well, they have hochrot colored rayon piping, lining and bandage pocket are made of a dark putty colored ribbed cotton, the vertical lining placket is stamped in black ink with sizes and F40 depot, the purple colored Franz Fiedler manufacturer's stamp is applied above the size markings, clean, unaltered and perhaps unworn, there are a couple of tiny spots of the slightest insect grazing to the collar but these are almost unnoticeable, seldom encountered model impossible to find in this condition, USD $3000
