Service worn Heer EM M42 cap with factory sewn trapezoid shaped insignia, constructed of early mid war quality field grey wool, lining is of grey colored flat cotton, with faint maker block stamp, date and size are also too light to read, approximately size 58, each side has a steel ventilation grommet, the pair of pebbled front closure buttons are originally sewn, the subdued woven insignia is factory straight stitched in the 'zip and flip' manner, with external and internal soiling to the body and a bit of nap wear, there is a tiny nick to the cap's body at the left lower edge, rarely seen in this configuration, USD $670
