Privately made Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery officer's overseas cap, interesting example constructed in the Schiffchen shape of field grey colored wool, lining is a grey colored ribbed rayon, cap is unmarked but is a large size 59/60, the turn up has factory applied gilt metallic wire piping, the golden yellow on dark green national emblem and national colors rosette are hand applied with the eagle most likely a postwar replacement as it is sewn with a different colored thread, cap shows little wear with just a few spots of light insect tracking, USD $900
