WWII German Army Infantry Waffenrock for NCO

WWII German Army Infantry Waffenrock for NCO-This example is a private purchase and it is named. It is produced in soft field grey wool that is very clean. There are a few extremely small nips/holes and extremely minor wear. There are eight silver finished pebbled aluminum buttons for the front closure; this same type is found on the tails on the reverse and on the shoulder boards (albeit smaller in size). The front and upper edge of the dark green wool collar are finished with a silver tresse. The collar tabs are produced in a bright silver aluminum tresse used for the twin columns. Additionally, the collar is piped in a white cloth indicating the wearer was a member of the infantry. The same piping is found down the front seams and on the rear tail seams. The sew-in shoulder boards, also piped in white, have a dark green badge cloth backing and a silver aluminum tresse around the entire perimeter. Also seen is one bright silver pip indicating that the owners rank was feldwebel. The number 13 is seen on the buttons and there are silver metal ciphers for the number 70. There is a handsome NCO style flat wire breast eagle that is in excellent condition and has been hand applied to the tunic. The interior is fully lined in green rayon that is excellent! The sleeves are fully lined in rayon. There is a pocket on the left side. Just above are size stamps plus the date, M37. The number 116 is also stamped on the interior. There is a name tag in the neck that reads 'Feldwebel Hennig, 13 (J.B.), Ap. J.R. 70'. This matches up perfectly with the shoulder boards, 13thInfantry Battalion, 70thInfantry Regiment. It is a size medium. A very nice example!
