Miniature Luftwaffe Officer's Visor Cap

Rare period tailor made miniature Luftwaffe Officer's Visor Cap (Miniatur Schirmmütze für Offiziere). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a rare tailor made miniature of a Luftwaffe Officer's visor cap, complete with leather visor, sweatband and celluloid diamond. The cap is not visible maker marked or dated. The miniature visor cap is complete with miniature chin strap, cocarde and cap-eagle. Probably made as a gift or intended for an expensive children's doll.
