Fleetwood Road Club 1960's Cycle Racing Reliability Trial Silver Medals R.Hockings

A good original pair of attractive 'Fleetwood Road Club silver and enamel medals, the centre of each depicting an 'Ancient Galley' on green translucent ground within a dark green title circlet joined at the base by a 'Lancashire Rose'. The first bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1962 and maker's details 'J.T& Co' (John Taylor & Co) and inscribed 'Reliability Trial Winner R.Hockings 1962'; the second example with hallmarks for 1960 and inscribed 'Reliability Trial R.Hockings'.Both in very good condition, complete with ring suspensions and no damage to the enamel.Diameter approx 28mm.
