Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI pin badge c.1940's

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Royal National Lifeboat pin badge'; gilt brass blue enamel title circlet, surmounted by a King's crown, the centre depicting an embossed lifeboat. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 35mm.
