A good original fine quality unmarked 'Saint Mary's Hospital Portsmouth nurses qualification badge; Hampshire rose suspension seated in a white enamel Maltese Cross superimposed over a Red Cross, with the Portsmouth Arms to the center with motto 'Heavens Light Our Guide'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'TOYE & CO. LONDON' and inscribed 'NEWMAN, GEORGE 18.10.1963'. Very good condition, complete with original blue silk ribbon with safety pin suspension, no stress marks or damage to the enamelHeight with ribbon approx 85mm.
