AN ORIGINAL- MARKED BLACK SS VERTICAL DAGGER HANGER.

These do not come up for sale very often. Usually snapped up by collectors to put on their '33 SS daggers, which I am sure where this will go! In used but very good condition. The black leather remains very supple throughout and the adjustable cross strap and buckle are still very serviceable. The snap clip is solid nickel and Assmann marked so this is probably reasonably early, before they used steel clips nickel plated. It has a nice original square adjusting buckle. The hanger has been on a dagger for a long time and has formed the shape of the scabbard. The inner main strap bears the remains of the RZM stampings into the leather, but over time and use, they have worn away. You can see the outline of either the RZM circle or the SS runes circle. Nice originality here. A very good vertical, waiting to go onto your dagger!!! Complete with its belt loop too!!!
