Helden der Wuste (Heros of the Desert)-This is tan original book by Hanns Gert Frhr von Esebeck. It was published in 1942. The hardcover shows use, the spine has some damage, so please see photos. This is a 236 page photo book about the German Afrika Korp (DAK) with a forward by Rommel. It contains both black and white photos as well as color photos. Again, the spine is damaged, but the book itself is in good shape. Someone has written their name in the front inside page twice in blue pen. But overall, this is very good. We are throwing in a photo that was found in the book, it is a black and white photo of a soldier standing at a barbed wire barricade in El Alamain.
