AN UNTOUCHED EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A SINGLE DECAL WEHRMACHT M40 STEEL HELMET.

Not a dagger I know, but I am offered other great items of original militaria, so I like to buy them when I can! This is a really good example of an untouched, unmessed with M40 single decal M40 steel helmet. Original dull apple green paint is 85% complete. Side silver decal is virtually undamaged and 99% intact!! The interior brown leather liner is exactly how you want it to look! All the tongues are present supple and undamaged. An 'as found' helmet in every way. The original drawstring is present but has broken. The original chinstrap is also present, with some slight wear to one part where it has been fitted over the front edge of the helmet and rubbed. Shell stamped Q 64 for maker and size.
