WWII Hungarian Medical Officer Presentation Dagger

The etched blade is quite clean, showing some spots and surface grime. The blade displays a gilt Hungarian crest on one side as well as the gilt medical emblem of a snake and goblet on the opposite side. The blade also has an engraved dedication on one side which is dated 1939. The grip remains tightly wrapped in twisted silver wire, with the grip having a small chip immediately beneath the pommel. The guard, the pommel, and the silvered scabbard all exhibit a fine and uncleaned patina. An uncommon World War II dagger in overall very good condition.
