WWII 8th Air Force Aerial Gunner Grouping

Here we have a 35 mission Aerial Ball Gunner who served with the 457th Bomb Group 748th Squadron flying B17's out of Glatton. Sgt James G Grantham with 269 hours of combat time awarded six Air Medals and a Purple Heart.The grouping consists of the following:-1. Boxed Air Medal.2. Boxed Purple Heart3. ETO Medal in issue box.4. Air Gunners wing pin back with safety catch.5. Dog Tag early issue with an address.6. 8th Air Force, Air Corps patches and enlisted collars. Thre piece medal ribbon bar. Paperwork includes original mission list detailing 35 missions together with copies of Air Medal and Purple Heart awards, Discharge Separation record.8.
