**RARE** WW2 British Named Generals Peaked Cap

Hard to find Hawkes made British Army officers cap with bullion embroidered insignia for rank of General. Clear tailor label to crown giving the famous tailor Hawkes as being the manufacturer of this high quality SD cap.Upon lifting the sweatband for inspection the name tag was discovered appearing to for a Major General Cuff . The numbers 410/8/42 are most likely the tailors reference for this officer with the date August 1942 as his details/measurements etc would be on file so as he could order uniforms without being present if so required.In excellent condition & certainly worthy of further research.
