A private purchase WW1 Belgian officers lightweight parade helmet in canvas covered fibre , these could be acquired by officers at their own expense & worn instead of the steel M15 Adrian helmet .A good condition example it retains a good proportion of its brown paint with officers leather chinstrap. Interior liner system remains good with the added bonus of the handwritten & notable name of 'LANNOY' .
