British Side Cap Royal Scotts 1940 Dated - Nice Used Condition

A British Side Cap original mounted with Royal Scotts cap badge. The side cap is in overall nice i.e. light used condition. Makers marked S&P Harris in the liner and sized 6 7/8. The cap compromises a rare early war i.e. 1940 dated example. As well as clearly Broad Arrow and War Department stamped. The Royal Scotts took part in the Battle of the Scheldt as part of the First Canadian Army, and the advance to the Rhine; it crossed the Rhine in March 1945 and advanced to Bremen by the end of the war. A very nice early war and original mounted British Side Cap.
