British Indian Army - 1st Punjab Regiment bi-metal Cap Badge, pre 1953

This cap badge is of two part construction and of Indian manufacture, gilding metal star and crown with a white metal central mounted riveted device, with two original tombstone style fixings to reverse (north - south, cap to centre of each tab circa 27mm). Circa 4.2cms tall and 3.5cms wide. In very good condition. A pleasing example.The 1st Punjab Regiment was a regiment of the British Indian Army from 1922 until circa 1953.
