Veteran Bring Back German WWII Set of Railroad Collar Tabs-This set is absolutely stunning. I always get excited when I see railroad stuff, mostly because of the importance of the railway during the war. It was the lifeline for moving supplies, men and equipment. Something we forget about today. This is a set of Reichsbahn collar tabs for a closed collar tunic. Collar tabs for the tunic worn closed at the neck were in the form of parallelograms, while those for the open-neck tunic were regular rectangles. These collar tabs feature a black cloth underlay with a gorgeous machine embroidered gold emblem in the form of a wheel viewed from the side with a wing attached, and bold piping on all four sides. On the reverse you can see the nut brown buckram stiffener. Overall, these rare collar tabs are in near excellent condition. These collar tabs were brought home by a US veteran. We will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer.
