German WWII War Service Cross 1st Class with Swords, Cased, Marked 65

Original era manufacture. Zinc cross with traces of it's original silver wash remaining. Tombac attaching pin which is marked 65 (Klein & Quenzer). Late pattern cardboard box, the paper hinge is torn and there is a spot on the bottom which has been pushed in slightly. Lid pad is intact.
