WWI Imperial German Model M1898/05 Butcher Blade Bayonet by H. Mundlos & Company

Available
$275.00

Description

The blade is generally clean, with typical spots, stains and surface dirt, but it is without nicks, chips or active rust. The ricasso bears the firm name of H. Mundlos & Company. The spine is undated. The bayonet has no flash guard on the grip spine, but it has the vestigial 'ears' of the muzzle ring. The wood grip plates show age and patina, as well as pock marks from carrying wear, but they are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel show age but retain original finish. The pommel has a royal cypher waffen amt. The scabbard shows age, but the finish is largely intact. Overall the bayonet is in good field used condition.
