A rare original circa 1920's period 'The Firefly song sheet music advertising badge' gilt brass example inlaid with multi coloured enamels in the form of a female fairy figure bearing wings and holding a bell; the reverse embossed 'FIREFLY' and RD737147' a design and patent date of 1927. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, very minor stress marks to left wing, waist and lower legs, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 39mm.
