WW1 1914-15 StarTo- 2114.PTE.R.SMITH.A&S.HIGHRSRobert Smith first landed in France 1-5-1915 & went on to be commissioned in to the 8th service battalion of the regiment 16-6-1915. He was discharged with a silver war badge in March 1919. He applied for his medals later the same year & gave his address as Edinburgh war hospital. However by 1923 he was living in Alberta Canada.GVF or better & complete with MIC details
