WW1 Victory MedalTo- S-40027.PTE.E.DIFFER.A&S.HIGHRSEdward Differ lived in Glasgow & enlisted in Kirkintilloch, Dumbartonshire. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 12-10-1917 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. He was 20 years of age at the time of his death & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Patrick and Catherine Differ, of 25, Burnbrae, Twechar, Glasgow.GVF/VF & complete with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
