WW1 Victory MedalTo- 11418.PTE.J.EDWARDS.K.O.S.BJohn Edwards was both born & enlisted in Leith & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 13-10-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion of the K.O.S.B. He was 30 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in BROWN'S ROAD MILITARY CEMETERY, FESTUBERT. The CWGC state that he was the late son of Andrew and Margaret Edwards, of 38, Hamilton St., Greenock.NEF & complete with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
