WW1 Victory MedalTo- 4-8283.PTE.T.IRVINE.A&S.HIGHRSThomas Irvine was born in Maryhill, Lanarkshire & enlisted in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Whilst living in Glasgow. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 25-9-1915 whilst serving with the 2nd battalion on the first day of the battle of Loos. Sadly he has no known grave but is commemorated on the Loos memorial.NEF & complete with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
