2x 1914-15 Trios to brother from Helensburgh. Both brothers served in the same battalion of the same regiment.1) 1914-15 TrioTo- 2487.PTE.G.BLYTH.A&S.HIGHRSGeorge Blyth first landed in France 19-2-1915 serving with the 1/9th battalion. He was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 10-4-1918 & sadly went on to die at home 16-7-1920 & is buried under a CWGC headstone in Helensburgh cemetery with his new service number 302807.2) 1914-15 TrioTo- 2251.PTE.J.BLYTH.A&S.HIGHRS.John Blyth also landed in France 19-2-1915 serving with the 1/9th battalion & was wounded by gun shot wounds to shoulder & knee 19-6-1918 & after the war he returned home to live in Helensburgh.Both trios are NEF & are complete with MIC details. Along with medal roll details & other basic research. Including CWGC details for the casualty.
