WW1 Pair with original postal envelopeTo- 3902.PTE.A.BELL.R.HIGHRS.Andrew Bell from Perth initially served overseas with the 1/6th Black Watch but was wounded in France in the Summer of 1916 & after he recovered he was posted to the 14th battalion (Fife & Forfar Yeomanry)He was lost at sea 30-12-1917 when the S.S.Aragon was sunk by the German U-Boat U34. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Chatby memorial. He was 21 years of age at the time of his death & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Andrew & Mary Bell of 5 Brands Brae, Gannochy, Perth.NEF & Complete with basic research details that include MIC & CWGC details.
