WW1 1914-15 StarTo- 2119.PTE.H.ASPINALL.W.RID.RHerbert Aspinall from Lightcliffe, Yorks enlisted in to the 1/4th battalion of the Duke of Wellington's West Riding regiment at Halifax & was killed in action serving with A-Company at Schwaben redoubt 3-9-1916. With his new six figure service number 200506. He was 27 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in Mill road cemetery, France. The CWGC state that he was the late son of Arthur & Elizabeth Aspinall of 55 East Street, Lightcliffe, Halifax.GVF or better & complete with MIC details, SDGW details & CWGC details.
