M40 Heer/Waffen-SS no decal steel helmet Q66

Typical late war M40 helmet produced by Quist. Light worn example. This was the last helmet factory to produce M40 pattern helmets until very late in to the war before switching to the M42 style helmet. The exterior is coated in field grey paint and shows normal wear. The helmet is complete with an original liner, most likely the liner was taken out at one point as the split pins are not hundred precent straight. The leather shows wear but remains supple and strong and is executed in pig-skin leather. Complete with genuine draw string Rear marked helmet by Quist; Q66 – T463. Honest, M40 steel helmet that could be used for a Army or Waffen-SS display.
