Honest and worn M42 Waffen-SS helmet. Single decal example with a classic pair of ET-style SS runes that match the manufacturer of this shell. The decal rates about 95% still showing crisp decal, covered by a lacquer. The liner shows normal wear, the leather remains supple and strong. The genuine draw string is still present. The liner band is dated 1943. The helmet is maker marked by ckl, size 64 and has lot number 2684. A perfect match with the database of Brian Ice (see print screen). A beautiful Waffen-SS M42 helmet!
