M40 Luftwaffe single decal steel helmet hkp64

Interesting mid war produced M40 pattern Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. The decal on the left side shows combat wear and remains 80% intact. The exterior sand mixed paint is typical for this manufacturer (SE/hkp). The helmet is complete with an original liner, being a reinforced aluminum example dated 1940. The leather is complete and feels supple and strong. The original draw string is still present. Liner might have been out at one point as split pins are not complete straight, they are marked IKA42. Maker marked by hkp (former SE) and has a size 64 shell. Lot number 12311. Comes with a non-German, but period chin strap. The buckle piece itself is a textbook German piece.
