US WWI Helmet for 78thInfantry Division-This example has a rough texture finish that remains 70% intact. To add the hand painted insignia for the 78th'Lightning' Infantry Division, the removed the rough texture finish from the area. This looks awesome and is definitely original. Inside, the leather liner is loose but fully intact including the paper tag with the instructions on how to tighten it. The chinstrap is only partially present. A very nice example!
