Vietnam War era M-1 Helmet

Vietnam War era M-1 Helmet-This is a very nice, clean example. Wartime shell is OD finished, dark OD shade #7 canvas chinstrap with black finished period hook and claw release buckle. Period OD finished liner with dark OS canvas webbing, pigskin leather sweatband. Tightening band to liner is 1972 dated. With reversible cloth camouflage cover, lightly worn and aged. Underside is marked with maker 'Blind, Inc.' and dated 1974 as part of the lot number code. Helmet has wartime elastic band, the early type without the yellow plastic tab, that is stenciled with 'Band, Helmet, Camouflage, US'. Excellent!
