Extremely Rare SA Stabswache Helmet

Extremely Rare SA Stabswache Helmet-This exceptional Model 1933 duckbill helmet for the SA Stabswache is missing from most collections. Worn by the early, elite SA guard that was tasked with guarding high level HSDAP officials and buildings. These units were dissolved after Kristallnacht, the Night of the Long Knives and replaced by the SS in 1934. I have been told by more knowledgeable helmet collector that myself that there are less that a dozen of the examples known to exist, and one of only a few that have any part of the decal remaining. The decals were, we're told, ordered to be scraped off after the Stabswache was dissolved. This example retains its great looking, size stamped 57 original liner and original pebbled, two buckle chinstrap. The original tan SA finish is in great condition. Extremely rare!
