WWII German Army Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet

WWII German Army Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet-This combat veteran has a field grey finish that shows some wear and discoloration from use, checking in at 70% intact. The army decal is toned and remains very nice at 80%. Inside is a size 59 leather liner that has a lot of wear and tear with scuffing and tears etc. There is a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1941 and size stamped 66/59. There is a replacement drawstring. The left side of the interior is stamped Q 66 indicating production by Quist in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number DN 85. Interestingly, the 'D' is reverse stamped. There are remnants of the original brown leather chinstrap. A good example overall!
