WWII German Model 1942 Army Ex-Camo Helmet

WWII German Model 1942 Army Ex-Camo Helmet-This combat example shows signs of a green and tan camouflage finish. It is almost entirely gone and the original field grey finish is mostly intact. The army decal was removed at some point.Inside is a soft, brown leather, size 57 liner. It shows minor wear, discoloration and scuffing from use. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1943 size stamped 64/57. The rear skirt is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke of Thale in the size of 64. There is a lot number 3076 as well. A sound example overall!
