WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet

WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet-This combat example features a blue grey finish that remains a solid 80% intact. The toned Luft decal on the left side is 85% intact. Inside is a brown leather, size 57 liner that has quite a bit of wear, some tearing and some discoloration as well. There is a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1942 and size stamped 64/57. There is a name written onto the right side of the interior. The left side of the interior is stamped Q 64 indicating production by Quist in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number DN 221. There is a brown leather chinstrap as well. It is maker marked and dated 1940. A very good example overall!
