U.S. Airborne Camouflage Parachute Piece - 'Overasselt Battlefield Relic'

Recently purchased from a private household amongst some other items. One of three pieces of U.S. Airborne Parachute. These pieces were found in Overasselt. Likely to have belonged to a soldier landed on zone O. This was the landing zone of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne division. This piece compromises a piece of the main camouflaged canopy.
