Description

1880/1890 British officers private purchase folding knife. It has checkered wooden grip scales to both sides with white metal cartouche to one side, release button, a long folding blade with brass guard, which unfolds and sits in place when the blade is opened. No makers mark visible, but I had an almost identical one a few years ago by Mappin Brothers. It comes in its original leather and brass scabbard with belt loop present. It is in very good order, no rusting and nice mellow patination. It measures inches when closed and in its scabbard, and 11 inches long when fully opened.Ship to UK mainland only. Proof of age required on purchase over 18's only.
